Adult Group Training

  • Our daily small group training program is focused on building overall strength, mobility, and conditioning. With no more than 10 team members per session, these workouts are as close to personal training as you can get at a fraction of the cost. Every exercise can be regressed or progressed to fit each team member’s needs. We emphasize movement quality and push people to move correctly so that the carryover outside of the gym shows long lasting impact. We have a variety of membership options and times to fit your busy schedule. Join us today!

  • Our large group (max 20 people) training class that takes place on Saturday mornings, and is geared towards having fun while working up a serious sweat. These 60-minute sessions include circuit-style full body workouts that are guaranteed to get your heart rate up and keep your metabolism elevated for several hours post-workout. Also included: laughter, loud music, and a group photo at the end. Join us today!

  • An opportunity for our members to GET in some extra cardiovascular work outside of our ACHIEVE training groups, members are welcome to come in during group times to use our cardio equipment on their own. Join us today!

Our Approach

At GET, we provide a well-rounded strength and conditioning program meant to improve your mobility, strength, power, and cardiovascular system for life. We switch our workout program every three weeks so that you can track your improvement week to week, while keeping it fresh and challenging, and ensuring balanced fitness over time.

PROPER MOVEMENT

Teaching proper full range of motion helps to protect the joints/tendons and keep them healthy. Our body is designed to move with certain parts of the body meant to be mobile and others meant to be stable so it is important to build the foundation of moving correctly to keep the body free from joint pain and arthritis in the future.

STRENGTH

Strength training is the body armor for the body. Like power, we begin to lose our strength at the age of 30 if we are not maintaining it. Creating a total body strength program will create functional balance with the whole body to help us be optimal and live our best life.

POWER

Adults lose their ability to react quickly or generate force (power) faster than they lose their strength as they age. Power is the number one injury prevention tool we have so it is important to maintain this at a high level for as long as we can. Time works against us but with proper training, we can preserve this ability and keep us safer for the long haul.

CONDITIONING

Studies have indicated that improved cardiovascular health were associated with lower all-cause mortality. While it is very important to maintain our mobility, strength and power as we age, training the heart might be the number one thing to helping us live longer.

Here at GET we utilize MYZONE heart rate monitors that allow you to see which zone you are in (your intensity level) and how many calories you’re burning throughout your workout in real time. Simply take a look at the TV display in the gym to see how you are doing and make adjustments as needed. You can also download the app to make workout notes and track your progress. Check your email each time you leave the gym to get a motivational summary of your work!
